Yes, please tell us in advance if you are travelling with a baby or a small child so we can have the appropriate seat ready for his/her age.
16. Is there a lot of walking during the tour?
No, at the beginning of the tour, in the olive groves, we walk approximately for 15-20 minutes and very short distances (100 meters – 330 feet). The path is flat and easy to walk on. Later in the tour, we walk very short distances (less than 50 meters – 150 feet). The tour is quite relaxed, so you will be able to rest after the long walks you may have made visiting Granada’s downtown and the Alhambra.
17. Is the tour adapted for people with disabilities and/or for people using a wheelchair?
Unfortunately, our van is not adapted to load and carry an unfolded wheelchair. Therefore, a person must be able to enter and leave the van on his/her own. In addition, there is a 50 meter (150 feet) walk in the olive grove and a 20-30 meter (65-100 feet) in the mill that are unsuitable for wheelchairs. If a person can stand, take few steps and walk these distances there shouldn’t be any problem.
18. What happens if it rains?
The time outdoors in the olive groves is just 15-20 minutes. For occasional showers an umbrella or a rainproof jacket is enough. On the very rare occasion that it might rain heavily, we will stay inside the minivan where the guide will provide the explanations for this part of the tour.
19. Do we need special equipment or shoes, etc… to go on the tour?
No. You can come as you please. In the olive groves we walk on a path. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Remember to bring your camera!!!
20. How many more people will there be with us?
It’s not always possible to know in advance the number of people who will join your group. In general, we work with small groups between 4-8 people. Sometimes it’s a personalized tour for a minimum of 2 people. During high season, the groups can get up to 12-16 people. Apart from this, we also organize private visits for groups of students or companies. For more information about groups please go to groups (https://oliveoiltour.com/tours/groups-students/)..
